🇮🇳🇳🇿 ঐতিহাসিক ক্রীড়া চুক্তি! ভারত-নিউজিল্যান্ডের সফটবলে নতুন দিগন্ত

বিশ্বমানের কোচিং থেকে আন্তর্জাতিক সিরিজ—ভারতীয় সফটবলে বড়সড় পরিবর্তনের পথে

নয়াদিল্লি: ভারত ও নিউজিল্যান্ডের ক্রীড়া সম্পর্কের মুকুটে যুক্ত হল আরও একটি নতুন পালক। নয়াদিল্লির হোটেল দ্য ললিত-এ অনুষ্ঠিত হল ভারত ও নিউজিল্যান্ডের সফটবল সংস্থার মধ্যে ঐতিহাসিক সমঝোতা স্মারক বা MoU স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠান।

Softball Association of India (SBAI) এবং Softball New Zealand (SNZ)-এর এই চুক্তিকে ভারতীয় সফটবলের ক্ষেত্রে একটি যুগান্তকারী পদক্ষেপ হিসেবে দেখা হচ্ছে। আগামী চার বছর ধরে দুই দেশের মধ্যে খেলোয়াড় তৈরি, কোচিং, প্রযুক্তি, স্পোর্টস সায়েন্স, পরিকাঠামো এবং তৃণমূল স্তরে সফটবলের প্রসারে যৌথভাবে কাজ করা হবে।

এই উদ্যোগের নেপথ্যে ভারতীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি এবং নিউজিল্যান্ডের প্রধানমন্ত্রী ক্রিস্টোফার লাক্সন-এর দুই দেশের ক্রীড়া সহযোগিতা বাড়ানোর দূরদর্শী পরিকল্পনার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছে SBAI।

🏆 কী থাকছে ঐতিহাসিক চুক্তিতে?

সবচেয়ে বড় আকর্ষণ—ভারত ও নিউজিল্যান্ডে পালা করে আয়োজন করা হবে ইন্দো-নিউজিল্যান্ড সফটবল সিরিজ/লিগ। ফলে ভারতীয় খেলোয়াড়রা নিয়মিত আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিযোগিতার অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জনের সুযোগ পাবেন।

এর পাশাপাশি ভারতীয় জাতীয় দলের জন্য আন্তর্জাতিক মানের হাই-পারফরম্যান্স কোচ দেওয়ার ব্যাপারেও সহযোগিতার কথা জানিয়েছে Softball New Zealand। Senior, Junior এবং Women's National Team-এর খেলোয়াড়দের প্রশিক্ষণে এই উদ্যোগ বিশেষ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হতে চলেছে।

শুধু জাতীয় দল নয়—স্কুল, কলেজ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং তৃণমূল স্তরেও সফটবলের প্রসার ঘটানো হবে। তরুণ প্রতিভা ও মহিলা খেলোয়াড়দের বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দিয়ে প্রশিক্ষণ শিবির, আম্পায়ার ও স্কোরারদের প্রশিক্ষণ এবং স্পোর্টস সায়েন্সভিত্তিক হাই-পারফরম্যান্স সিস্টেম গড়ে তোলার পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে।

✍️ কারা স্বাক্ষর করলেন?

চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষর করেন Softball New Zealand-এর বোর্ড সদস্য জে চ্যাংলানি এবং Softball Association of India-এর সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল ড. প্রবীণ আনাওকর।

অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন SBAI-এর জয়েন্ট সেক্রেটারি ওয়াসিম রাজা খান, জয়েন্ট সেক্রেটারি শিবানী ট্যাগোর, বিজয় গৌর-সহ সংগঠনের অন্যান্য আধিকারিকরা।

SBAI-এর নেতৃত্বের বক্তব্য, “এটি শুধু একটি MoU নয়, একটি আন্দোলনের সূচনা। বিশ্বমানের সফটবল ব্যবস্থার সঙ্গে ভারতের সরাসরি সংযোগ তৈরি হল। দেশের যুবসমাজ, নারী খেলোয়াড় এবং প্রতিটি রাজ্য ও কেন্দ্রশাসিত অঞ্চলের প্রতিভাবান খেলোয়াড়দের জন্য এটি নতুন সুযোগ তৈরি করবে।”

বিশ্ব সফটবলে অন্যতম সফল দেশ নিউজিল্যান্ডের সঙ্গে এই অংশীদারিত্ব ভারতীয় সফটবলকে আন্তর্জাতিক স্তরে আরও শক্তিশালী করে তুলবে বলেই আশা ক্রীড়ামহলের।

ভারত-নিউজিল্যান্ডের এই নতুন ক্রীড়া সেতুবন্ধন কি ভারতীয় সফটবলকে বিশ্বমঞ্চে নতুন উচ্চতায় নিয়ে যাবে? এখন সেদিকেই তাকিয়ে ক্রীড়াপ্রেমীরা।

GENERAL MEETING |23.08.2026

The General Meeting of the West Bengal Softball Association was successfully held on 23rd August, 2026.

The meeting marked an important milestone in strengthening the organizational structure and ensuring the systematic growth, development and promotion of Softball throughout West Bengal.

SPECIAL PRESENCE & OBSERVATION

The General Meeting was graciously observed by Dr. Praveen Anorkar, General Secretary, Softball India. His esteemed presence added great significance and inspiration to the meeting.

Dr. Anorkar conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the members of the Executive Committee of the West Bengal Softball Association. He expressed his confidence that the Executive Committee would work with unity, dedication and commitment for the growth and development of Softball in West Bengal.

His encouraging words and valuable presence inspired all the members to work collectively towards strengthening the game and taking West Bengal Softball to greater heights at the State and National levels.
