We ended our Independence Cup campaign this year with a defeat in the finals at Kaffer against Lower Kaffer Veterans.

With a 3-2 win over SKS Veterans we have booked the berth for the finals in the 80th Independence Veterans Tournament at Kaffer. Damein Lepcha proved to be the hero of the match with his hattrick. We now face our mates Kaffer Veterans in the finals on the 15th of August.

Today we head eastward towards the picturesque location of Kaffer to play in the semi finals of the veterans category at the 80th Independence Day Football Tournament 2026.

We bowed out of the Independence Day Veterans Tournament at Burmiak, Kalimpong which is being organised by Max Sporting Club. We are thankful to the organizing committee for inviting us.

We began our campaign for 2026 from the picturesque tea garden of Lopchu in the Open Knockout Veterans Independence Day Football Tournament 2026 with a convincing scoreline of 4-0 against Lower Lopchu Veterans. Raju Tamang scored a brace while Amit Tamang and Santosh Tamang also added to the tally. This tournament is being organised by Youth Club Lopchu at Lopchu playground.

Not the result we wanted as we bowed down against Real Friends Sikkim in the finals of the 4th Christmas Cup 2025. We are thankful to the organisers of Lower Kaffer for inviting us and being a wonderful host.
