Four years ago, a dream took shape in the hills of Kalimpong — a dream to create not just footballers, but disciplined young men with purpose, courage, and ambition. Today, Nadong Bhutia Football Academy in collaboration with Kalimpong District Police and Kumudini Homes as an Education Partner proudly completes 4 years as a residential football academy, and every challenge faced along the journey has only made us stronger.
Through limited resources, criticism, and countless obstacles, we have continued to provide the best training environment possible for our boys — nurturing raw talent, building character, and giving young players a platform to shine on bigger stages.
Over these years, our academy has proudly become:
🏆 3-time Champions of the Kalimpong School Divisions
🏆 2 times Subroto Mukherjee District Champions
🏆 Winners and participants in several major tournaments and platforms
But beyond trophies, our greatest achievement lies in the journey of our boys. Some now represent renowned institutions like Minerva Punjab FC and Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools, while others have proudly gone on to serve the nation through the Indian Army.
There may not always be acknowledgement. There may always be criticism. But every doubt only pushes us to work harder than ever before.
Because our mission remains unchanged — to keep believing in our boys until one day, one of them proudly represents India on the international stage. 🇮🇳⚽
