What inspires us even more is your passion and dedication towards sports despite being a Commerce faculty teacher at St. Augustine's School, Kalimpong. Your commitment, love for sports, and relentless encouragement to young athletes truly reflect the spirit of this honour.

This season was a true test from the very beginning. After the 91st-minute semifinal heartbreak in our debut campaign at the Kanyashree B Premier Division last year, the girls came back stronger, more determined, and united by one goal.
The hard work, resilience, and belief shown throughout the campaign paid off as we were finally crowned Champions of the 2025–26 season.

Our girls have already made history by qualifying for Kanyashree A next season, becoming the first team from the hills to do so. A dream once whispered has now become reality.
Every early morning, every drop of sweat, every challenge faced has led to this moment.

Historic Moment for Debanjan Share Girls’ Academy, Kalimpong

Debanjan Share Girls’ Academy, Kalimpong has once again etched its name in the annals of football history by achieving a remarkable milestone in the Kanyashree Cup – Division B, Calcutta Women’s League. Representing the Hills with pride, determination, and exceptional skill, the young girls have marched into the finals of the prestigious tournament, showcasing their growing dominance in women’s football.
In a thrilling semi-final encounter, Debanjan Share Girls’ Academy defeated Matua Football Foundation by 1–0, displaying disciplined teamwork, tactical awareness, and unyielding spirit. The hard-fought victory has earned them a well-deserved place in the final, where they are set to face Rampur Milan Sangh in what promises to be a highly competitive clash.
This achievement carries even greater significance as the Academy continues to break barriers for football in the Hills. Last year, Debanjan Share Girls’ Academy created history by becoming the first-ever team from the Hills to participate in the Calcutta League. Notably, this feat had never been accomplished by any boys’ team either—only individual players from the Hills had previously represented various Kolkata-based clubs.
The Academy’s journey stands as a powerful testament to the rise of grassroots football in the region and the immense potential of young girls when given the right platform, guidance, and encouragement.
