WEATHER UPDATE
26, 27, 28 Dec 2021.

Starting tomorrow, 23 Dec 2021, though there will be isolated snowfall somewhere or the other,
however, the first huge Western Disturbance or WD of the season, and the last one for 2021, is sure gonna hit us hard on 26 Dec.

From 26 Dec, all through 28 Dec at least and as seen today, its gonna make the Himalayas white.
ADVISE - get to your destination by 25 Dec 21.

Many highways are gonna get blocked. If you planning for a road trip to Leh either from Srinagar or Manali side, just forget about it.
Plan for next year.

Gulmarg - those heading for Gulmarg, drive carfully, dont speed up and ram someone else, cause there will be others also speeding up and will ram you. When walking on the road side, keep a check what is happening behind you, some vehicle could be skidding towards you and will ram you.
ONCE SKIDDING STARTS, IT TAKES VERY LITTLE FORCE TO KEEP THE VEHICLE SKIDDING.

Keep a check on road to Sonmarg, most likely it will get closed.

Some places other than those I have been mentioning over past few months that could get snow fall :-

Dalhousie could be heading for its first snowfall.

Manali could be also be ready for its first snowfall.

Shimla is on the fringes, so let see what happens.

Prashar Lake has a good chance.

Chanshal Pass is in for snowfall.

Auli is headed for snowfall.

Kalpa Chitkul are in for a good snowfall, and road could get blocked.

Entire Spiti Valley is heading for a nice white coat.

If you get stuck, enjoy the holiday, dont put city or state Administration under pressure, they have limited resources, give give them time to clear the roads.
