Marwar has much that is authentic to offer, share and to teach. Our tradition of hospitality, nobility and chivalry stretches back to the time immemorial. Polo is no different, back in time, the sport of kings was most favoured by the rulers, who took to polo as fish to water and the sport found its perfect companion and location in Jodhpur, once considered as โ€˜Meccaโ€™ of the sport. As time passed,

the polo scene changed but Jodhpur still leads the way and is considered to be most sort after polo season in the country and a perfect destination for polo holiday. His Highness the Maharaja Gaj Singh II took personal interest in the sport and took to its revival and despite his many social, cultural and business commitments, Bapji has always taken a keen interest in equestrian sports and nurtured an ambition to re-establish Jodhpur as a premier centre of polo. The young heir apparent, the Yuvraj Shivraj Singh Ji himself a keen player was leading Jodhpur Team before his unfortunate fall and polo accident. He, along with Maharaja of Jodhpur, is the greatest supporter of the Jodhpur Polo and the promoter of one of the most sort after polo event of the country โ€“ Jodhpur Polo Season. Buzzing during December, Jodhpur is donned by leading polo personality, big brands and prestigious cups and tournaments.
