JKAWF INDIA Jharkhand Monsoon Karate Camp 2025, a 2-day intensive JKA karate training camp in the monsoon season of Eastern India. We appreciate your dedication and perseverance in successfully completing the camp even in humid weather conditions. This camp was organised as a Japan month enlisted event, an initiative by the Embassy of Japan in India.
Somnath Palchowdhury Sensei and Arindam Sikdar Sensei, we extend our sincere gratitude for your valuable time and expertise in teaching the members of Japan Karate Association Jharkhand the principles of JKA. Special thanks to ONGC, CBM Asset, Bokaro for sponsoring this training camp and to all parents for participating in the parent-teacher meeting. Congratulations to the 8 students who successfully passed their JKA SHODAN Black belt test, conducted by Somnath Sensei and Arindam Sensei from JKAWF INDIA with prior permission from JKA HQ, Tokyo. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors and encourage them to continue training to achieve the highest level of perfection, as embodied in the DOJO KUN of the Japan Karate Association.

International yoga day

Instructors of JKA WF INDIA WB PURULIA district participated in the 3 days Instructor's Residential Training Camp from 13-15 June 2025 at Kolkata.
Training begins with Kihon and goes simultaneously to Kumite, in the evening we have done a judges seminar. 2nd day was resuming from KUMITE and then in the evening session we have started KATA from Heian Shodan - Heian Godan & Tekki Shodan - Tekki Nidan, ended up with the Instructors meeting discussing about the upcoming camps and championships. And on the last day we covered Bassai Dai, Kanku Dai & Empi. Unable to practice Jion due to time constraints and before concluding the camp once again we have brushed up the flag signals for judging a bout.
Overall it was well organised training camp in the lap of nature where all Instructors stayed together, have quality time training and eating together. The sole purpose of the camp was to let the instructors of JKAWF INDIA understand the correct way of spreading & teaching JKA Karate.
