JAMMU ATHLETES CLUB
Jammu Athletes Club is the very first athletes club of J&K state; one of its kinds that is committed to sports including running, cycling, swimming etc. and players in the state in the truest sense. Jammu Athletes club is envisioned by Gaurav Gupta, The Marathon Man of Jammu and Vikram Gupta, leading businessman with a mission to create Champions through Sports Events and create a pool of opportunities par global level in Jammu strengthening the youth proficiency and competency while promoting health and fitness among the citizens of the state.
The club is dedicated to provide opportunities to the youth of the state by recognising and promoting sports through athletic and other events and assimilate social causes through sports empowerment in the state. The club also aims at bringing about the concept of ‘Life in Balance’ among the citizens of the state promoting the healthy lifestyle on and off field and creating enrichment of life for both the athletes and the community at large through the medium of athletic support and events.
Gaurav Gupta and Vikram Gupta conceptualised Jammu Athletes Club as they saw and witnessed dearth of opportunities for a common man in the state in the athletic field and wanted to work for the cause rectifying the same and use sports that could bent the mindset of the youth to constructive and confident state
