Concerned about the recent back to back poor performances by the team,a high level SOS meeting was held by the executive committee of the 'Young Boys Cricket Club'which was chaired by the team's captain Mohsin Hassan.Various causes of concern and effective remedies were discussed.
The members seemed very much concerned about the recent performances by the team, but at the same time were committed to bring back the teams lacking morale, passion and enthusiasm, which has left the team high and dry in the recent times.
All the members carefully pondered upon the various points and collectively agreed the following points are a major concern.
1:The fitness levels of all the members is very much below par.Almost all the members look dull, rusty, and out of shape.
2:Batting is very fragile.Beyond few batsmen no other looks capable of staying at the wicket.
3:Fielding is teams most concerned department. As an old english saying 'catches win matches' lays stress upon the importance of taking catches, contrary, our teams drops fair bit of them averagely.
4:Members also stressed upon the need to give every moral support towards teams captain in his decision making.Captain himself is out of touch these days but we need to stand behind him.
The members also suggested some remedies to quickly overcome this inconsistency bubble as follows
1:Must Practice sessions for batting, bowling, and fielding departments atleast two days prior to a match.
2:Fitness drills.Members also suggested fitness drills to stay sound both physically and mentally. For this a suggestion for a collective morning walk was made as all the players live in close vicinity to eachother.
3:Importance of decipline and following the commandments of captain and senior players. This suggestion was importently made for the rookie players, who are in their first or second year of playing.
The meeting ended in a hopefull note and commitment that team will soon overcome the period of gloom and glory will shine once again.
