Sainik Football Club (SFC) Sainik Football Club , a football club of Small Town, Sainik Colony situated in Jammu City, J&K. after that team is yearly participating in JK Football League.

Sainik Football Club , a football club of Small Town, Sainik Colony situated in Jammu City in J&K. Started in 2003 by the local members and approved by JKFA in 2004 to play in the JK Football League. The main founder of the club is Mr.Surinder Sharma , who started this club in 2003 by his individual effort. In 2005 , team reached the finals of Junior League , But failed to lift the cup. Recently , Last year in 2010 , team qualified for a place in Senior League , Division 'A' by Toping the Junior League. Also Now has the direct entry for playing in the tournaments like Sher-e- Kashmir Gold Cup , Christmas Gold Cup etc . The Administration is also responsible for this quick and strong success of the club along with the coming of new talents both in 'A' and 'B' team . SFC Win Penalty Thriller Against Churchill FC in Jammu Gold Cup

Jammu, Parade Stadium (Sunday):
Sainik Colony FC (SFC) registered a hard-fought victory over Churchill FC, winning 3–2 in sudden-death penalties after a thrilling encounter in the Jammu Gold Cup here on Sunday.

Churchill FC took the lead in the first half, going 1–0 up and putting SFC under early pressure. However, SFC made a strong comeback after the break, producing their best football of the match and dominating play before restoring parity in the second half.

With the scores level at the end of regulation time, the match moved into a tense penalty shootout. Showing remarkable composure, SFC held their nerve in sudden death to seal the contest 3–2, delighting the crowd at Parade Stadium.

Earlier in the tournament, SFC had recorded an emphatic 6–2 win against Jammu Sports, underlining their strong form.

SFC will be back in action on Monday, when they face Vijay Club in their next Jammu Gold Cup fixture at Parade Stadium.
