Walking is great. But it's not enough.
One of the biggest myths we hear is, "I walk every day, so I'm fit."
Walking is excellent for your heart, your mood, and your overall health.
But your muscles tell a different story.
Look at these two images.
Both people are 65 years old.
One has held onto their muscle. The other has slowly replaced much of it with fat and connective tissue.
This doesn't happen overnight.
It begins in your 40s, often without you noticing. Year after year, muscle disappears if you never give it a reason to stay.
That's where strength training comes in..
Strength workouts can help you stay stronger, move better, and remain independent as you age.
Train today so your future self can climb stairs with ease, get up off the floor confidently, and keep doing the things you love.
Your body is an investment. Start building it before you need it.
If you could recommend just one habit for healthy aging, what would it be? Let's hear your thoughts. π
