KAA President Tapa Singdak appeal all executive members to support and cooperate for promotion of Kickboxing in state. take pledge to work for promotion of games and sports in state.

ITANAGAR, JULY 29 : The newly elected Kickboxing Association of Arunachal (KAA) President Tapa Singdak has appeal the newly formed state executive body members and executive committee to extend full support and cooperation for the promotion of Kickboxing games in Arunachal Pradesh.

Addressing the 1st state level office bearers and executive members here in a city hotel, the KAA President inform that now our state is changing in all front so the Kickboxing games should also grow like other games and it will be possible if all the office bearers and state executive members join hands together for its promotion. He said.
Today the sports is becoming a big industry in world and one those who are interested in games and sports should concentrate in the particular discipline and become a good player and play for our state and country and win medal and trophy. Now one can make career in games and sports and can lead a professional life and make name and fame in the sports like many had already been doing. So time has come be prepare for promoting the games and sports in any discipline which you like and even can avail the benefit of the state government in all the department fo 5% and 10% in police so its high time and grab the opportunity. Said Singdak.
KAA General secretary reelected Charu Govin emphasized the games and sports as a tool to remain fit and fine with a healthy body and sound mind. He appeal all the executive members and district presidents to start grooming of players in their respective district so that good players come up and play for state and country at national and international arena.
KAA executive member Hura Maming, Arunachal Olympic Association (AOA) Observer Pakjar Taipodia, Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) Observer Dari Lokam, KAA ERO Adv. Charu Kojum among others also address the gathering.

A 25 members state office bearers and state executive members were elected and selected on the occasion who take oath of secrecy to work for promotion of games and sports in state specially the Kickboxing and also to discard any types of drug play for state and country.

Wako india kickboxing federation & Kickboxing Association of Arunachal (KAA) conducted Women Self defense program to Observed FIT India womens week Day collaboration with Sports Authority of India (SAI) and PAN-India on 6th March 2025 at JNV Goju, Bordumsa, Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh with the theme "STRONGER HER HEALTHEIR FUTURE" For all Womens and girls; Right, Equality and Empowerment.

Arunachal Kickboxers has made a remarkable showing at the 4th Wako Indian Open International Kickboxing Tournament 2025 by securing a total of 10 (Ten) medals. Which is held at New Delhi from 1st to 5th February 2025, were Participated by 10 (Ten) country in the Tournament.

The state Kickboxers bagged 3 (Three) Gold, 4 (Four) Silver and 3 (Three) Bronze medals for the state and country, showing its talent and strength in the Kickboxing sports discipline.

The Tournament was organised by Wako India Kickboxing federation and this Tournament is official yearly calendar event of Wako India Kickboxing federation (WIKF).

The name of medal winners are given below:

1. Shri Robin Deori : Gold medal( Men Senior division -67kg Low kick Event).

2. Shri Tason Ekke : Gold medal ( Boys Junior Division -52kg Kick light Event).

3. Miss Chamchak Mossang : Gold medal ( Women Senior Division -55kg Kick light Event).

4. Shri Kishor Thapa : Silver medal ( Men Senior division -81kg Low Kick Event).

5. Shri Jipe Lombi : Silver medal (Men Senior division -60kg K1 Event).

6. Shri Bishal Mura : Silver medal ( Men Senior division -57kg Low Kick Event).

7. Miss Sorita Shrestha : Silver medal (Girls Junior Division -58kg Low Kick Event).

8. Shri Rantu Sonowal : Bronze medal (Men Senior division -57kg Low Kick Event).

9. Wangjoy Kungkho : Bronze medal (Boys Junior Division -57kg Kick Light Event).

10. Shri Wanghim Ngaimong : Bronze medal ( Men Senior division -51kg Low Kick Event).
