The 2nd Edition of Purple Fest Arunachal 2026 was successfully conducted on 20–21 June 2026 at Delhi Public School (DPS), Jollang, Itanagar. The event was organized by the Paralympic Association of Arunachal (PAA) with the support of the Department of Social Justice, Empowerment & Tribal Affairs (SJETA), Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

The festival aimed to promote inclusion, accessibility, dignity, empowerment, and equal opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan). More than 250 Divyangjan participants from different districts of Arunachal Pradesh, attended the event.

Major activities included:• Exhibitions and awareness programmes• Skill development workshops• Educational and career counselling sessions• Cultural performances• Sports competitions• Literary and drawing competitions• Felicitation of distinguished Divyangjan achievers

The festival provided an important platform for showcasing the abilities, talents, and achievements of Persons with Disabilities while encouraging greater awareness and participation in creating an inclusive society.

District Championship Results:• Champion – Papum Pare District• 1st Runner-Up – East Siang District• 2nd Runner-Up – East Kameng District
