Rohit Sharma Gets Angry and Frustrated with Shubman Gill After a Costly Mix-Up in IND vs AFG 1st ODI. 😠

Rohit Sharma was run out for 16 runs after a mix-up with Shubman Gill during the first ODI between India and Afghanistan.

Rohit had called for a run and was already halfway down the pitch, but Gill changed his mind and turned back to his crease. By the time Rohit tried to return, he was run out.

It was Rohit's first run-out in ODI cricket since 2019. A similar mix-up between Rohit and Gill had also led to Rohit's run-out in a T20I in 2024. Once again, while batting alongside Gill, it was Rohit who ended up paying the price for the misunderstanding.

Rohit looked visibly disappointed and frustrated as he walked back to the pavilion.

Happy retirement, and enjoy your second innings. One of the finest cricketers to ever play the game and a player loved by everyone around the world.

If you want to learn how to accept defeat with grace, watch Kane Williamson. Despite heartbreaking losses in the 2015 ODI World Cup Final and the dramatic 2019 ODI World Cup Final, he always carried a smile on his face and accepted every setback with dignity and class.

He led New Zealand to the World Test Championship title as captain, yet he will retire without crossing the legendary milestone of 10,000 Test runs. At just 35 years of age, it still feels like he had a lot more cricket left in him. A part of me still wishes he would have played the 2027 ODI World Cup.

I will always feel proud and fortunate that I got to witness Kane Williamson's greatness and watch him play during my lifetime. His class, technique, and elegance made him one of the most enjoyable batters to watch, whether in international cricket or the IPL.

A true gentleman of the game, a gem of the cricketing community, and one of the legendary Fab Four of modern-day cricket.

Career Highlights:
• 9,515 runs in Tests.
• 7,256 runs in ODIs.
• 2,575 runs in T20Is.
• ICC World Test Championship winner as captain. 🏆

Rahul Dravid's elder son, Samit Dravid, is a fast-bowling all-rounder, while his younger son, Anvay Dravid, is a wicketkeeper-batsman. Both have been selected for India's Under-19 teams.
