Winning Start for KIYC: Hamid Leads Team to Victory Over Sagolband United

Lairenjam, Imphal: The KIYC cricket team began their campaign with a winning start in today’s match at the Lairenjam Cricket Ground as part of the 10th MNCA Plate Tournament 2025–2026.

Ahead of the tournament, cricket shirts and kits were distributed to KIYC players and officials on 29th November 2025. The distribution programme was held at the KIYC Turf Ground and conducted by Hon’ble MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan, in the presence of the KIYC President, executives, and well-wishers.

In today’s match, KIYC faced Sagolband United (SU) and secured an impressive victory by 6 wickets. Abdul Hamid delivered a standout performance, taking 4 wickets and scoring 35 runs, earning him the Man of the Match title.

The team’s strong performance has boosted confidence as they prepare for the remaining matches of the tournament. KIYC extends its best wishes to the players for the upcoming fixtures.

In connection with the upcoming 10th MNCA Plate Tournament 2025–2026, cricket shirts and kits were distributed to the players and officials of KIYC. With his generous support, our volunteers actively took part in the distribution drive and were able to provide relief assistance to around 300 flood-affected households in the area.
