Manipur U19 Boys Clinch Runners-Up Trophy at 4th National Futsal Festival

The Manipur Soccer Futsal Association (MANISFA) is proud to announce that the Manipur U19 team secured the Runners-Up Trophy at the 4th National Futsal Festival, held from April 26 to 28, 2025, at Candolim, Goa.

In a thrilling final match, the Manipur U19 boys put up a commendable performance but narrowly lost to Assam with a scoreline of 2–3. The two crucial goals for Manipur were scored by Maremmei Ramthaipou in the 10th minute and Adisun Kangabam in the 27th minute.

Yambem Arun Meetei, President of MANISFA, extended heartfelt congratulations to the U19 boys, Coach L. Loken, and the entire team for their spirited performance and determination throughout the tournament.

2nd State Level Soccer Futsal Championship 2025 Concludes Successfully in Imphal West

The 2nd State Level Soccer Futsal Championship 2025 was successfully conducted from 19th to 20th April 2025 at the Pioneer Club Ground, Lamdeng Makha Leikai, Imphal West. The two-day event brought together talented teams and enthusiastic spectators from across the state.
After a spirited final match, Team Kangleipak – A (2 goals) emerged as the champions, while Youth Welfare Club Malom (1 goal) finished as the runner-up of the tournament. Winning goals were scored by Chingsubam Sh*tal and H. Saimon. One goal from YWC side was scored by David Yendrembam.

The prize distribution and closing ceremony was held in a grand manner, graced by distinguished personalities. Wangkheimayum Sumati Devi, renowned social worker, attended as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Laishram Boby Devi, Chairperson of the Imphal West Zilla Parishad, and Dr. Thokchom Inaocha Singh joined as Guests of Honour. The event was presided over by Yambem Arun Meetei, President of the Manipur Soccer Futsal Association (MANISFA).

The ceremony was elevated by an arousing welcome performance by Loyalakpa Band of Mayanglangjing Taning, captivating the dignitaries, finalists and audience alike.

MANISFA extends heartfelt gratitude to all participating teams, ISFF officiating team & Referees, supporters, Pioneer Club Officials, volunteers, and sponsors who made the event a resounding success. The association remains committed to promoting futsal and fostering sporting spirit across the state.

Manipur under 19 team secured the runner-up position in the recently held 16th Junior National Futsal Championship held at Ahmedabad, Gujarat from the 4th to 6th Jan 2025. Manipur lost to Assam in the final match.
