5th Achievers’ Nite 2026 Successfully Held at Imphal
The Manipur Cricket Association successfully hosted the 5th Achievers’ Nite 2026 on 24th May 2026 at Sangai Hall, Imphal Hotel by The Classic, North AOC, Imphal, under the aegis of the North East Cricket Development Council (NECDC), celebrating the outstanding performers and achievers of the North East State Cricket Associations during the BCCI Domestic Season 2025-26.
The day commenced with a friendly cricket match between the visiting delegates of the North East State Cricket Associations and MNCA officials at the picturesque Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam, symbolising camaraderie, unity and the shared spirit of cricket among the North East cricket fraternity.
The grand Achievers’ Nite held in the evening witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, cricket administrators, delegates, players and officials from across the North East region. A total of 38 awards were presented during the evening comprising Individual Awards, Champion Awards and Special Awards honouring outstanding performers and achievers representing the member State Cricket Associations under NECDC for their remarkable achievements during the domestic season.
The evening was further enriched by mesmerising cultural showcases and traditional performances reflecting the rich heritage, cultural diversity and artistic spirit of Manipur.
MNCA places on record its sincere appreciation to Khairul Jamal (Mamon) Majumdar, Member, IPL Governing Council, BCCI, and Rajkumar Imo Singh, Former President, MNCA & Hon’ble MLA, Sagolband Assembly Constituency, for gracing the occasion and for their continued encouragement towards the development of cricket in the North East region. The Association also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Naba Bhattacharjee, Co-convenor, NECDC, for his invaluable guidance, coordination and contribution towards the successful conduct of the event.
The occasion stood as a celebration of cricketing excellence, sporting achievement, regional unity and the continued rise of North East cricket on the national stage.
MNCA further extends its gratitude to NECDC, all participating State Cricket Associations, delegates, awardees, artists, officials, volunteers and supporters for making the event a grand success.
