Well, where do I start to tell you what this trip means to me and whom I am taking along. My two best buddies (Rajiv Prakash & Sridhar Ramaraju. There are so many mixed emotions this time around and I could write volumes to let you know how I feel. BUT, I do not want to bore you at the start of this epic trip. This could be the last trip I ever take as I am not growing any younger. I am 60 years 8 months 30 days as of today and still have the balls to do this ride. Yes, I am also riding from Hyderabad this time to Delhi first and then with the Royal Bikers . Manish and Rajendra and their team are the ones getting us there
3rd of July is the day we start our journey. This time there should be many more pictures and vids. Waiting for the day with bated breath.
To the three of us old farts, Cheers and we will have a great time.

We need to stop MAKING room for doubts and fears…for self-deprecation and criticism…for anxiety and stress! There is room only for so much ! So, fill that space with hopes and dreams, with optimism and anticipation…and you will see life moulding itself around you – nudging you, pushing you, to make it happen!

Work.... Work.... Work..... and more work..... TIme flies by and suddenly you realise that you are 59 (in sept-2020) years old and have so much more to do. How do you start to live again... how do you tell yourself that you need to be fit for sixty..?? Cycling - done.... Hiking - done.... Riding... semi done.. lol...

Well, In 2021 June.... I will be riding again to one of the best places in the world... Leh-Ladhak... I know a group that would love to follow me there or vice versa... best buddies in my first ride up there at 18380 Ft. I have a few agendas and one of them is cycling at altitudes of 300 mts to about 700 mts... trying to get myself into shape as I want to do some trekking (broken ankle and all). If I ease into my 60's in september -2021) My point here is all about whether i have the balls to do it... I am not of the kind where my mind (sitting behind a desk) says... "this is bloody easy".... I am not a Keyboard Ninja or a Gamer.... I am out in the wild where I see Cobras on a regular basis.. Vipers...Scorpions n s**t.... I am living the dream (many would love to be where I am now) but do you really have the Cojones to do this at my age... My best competitor pushing me now is my son Zak... Another fitness freak... way past my league when I was young... But pushing me nevertheless....

My back-up is my family.. who chew me out when they see my face red or pooped... but then they are the back-up I really need... Motivation comes in many forms an they are right at the top... So folks out there... Please listen to your family... they are your back up in so many ways you will ever know...

Currently I am cycling about twice a week... 25 to 35 km in about 2 hours.... will be starting to make it three times a week and then the same rides will have time trials to make the ride more intense... Cover the same route in a shorter period/span of time.

Hopefully I may have some pics to post of my "Tiny Winy" pics of the cycling trips that I do....

Totally overwhelmed by the responses and the likes… Now I wish I should have posted all my rides that I did before WhatsApp or FB.. lol… But then, I am so glad you folks out there love the whole shebang…
