DRDO Kanchanbagh Sports Club DRDO Kanchanbagh Sports Club (KSC) was formed in 1989 under the able presidentship of Mr. A. K. Chakraborty, with Dr. Easwer Prasad as Secretary and Mr.

Shajahan as Coach/Manager. KSC was formed primarily to promote the game of football in Kanchanbagh and successfully produced quite a few national players and sportsmen who went on to play for reputed teams. The club also conducted annual football and cricket tournaments regularly in which top teams from Hyderabad took part. The club has recently seen a revival of sorts. KSC successfully conducted

a Football Summer Coaching for kids of various age groups in July 2011. We have also conducted a Hard Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament in memory of Major Padmapani Acharya (Maha Vir Chakra) and Saradhi from 7th - 9th of October 2011. A Dance Competition for kids is scheduled to be held on Children's day on the 14th of November 2011. KSC aims to promote sport in Kanchanbagh and adjoining areas and invites all sportspersons and enthusiasts, who have been associated with Kanchanbagh sport, to join us in our endeavour.
