BDK Sports Foundation (A) U-19 STORMS INTO THE KNOCKOUTS!

​A sensational performance by our young champions! BDK Sports Foundation (A) (U-19) registered a massive 181-run victory against SDM Cricket Academy (B) at the Karnataka Gymkhana Association ground in Hubli, securing a well-deserved spot in the knockout stages of the KSCA Dharwad Zone U-19 Inter-Club Tournament 2026-27!

​THE BATTING POWERHOUSE

Opting to bat first, the boys put up a formidable total of 291.
​THE PERFECT FOUNDATION: Captain PREETHAM C SUNKAPUR (17) and wicketkeeper-batsman PREETAM CHIMMALGI provided a solid, reliable start as usual, with Chimmalgi playing a brilliant knock of 63 runs off 53 balls (9x4's, 1x6's) to set the tone.
​The Masterclass: SAINATH RAJOLI was the star of the innings, agonizingly missing out on a well-deserved century but anchoring the middle order beautifully with a magnificent 99 off 75 balls (15x4's, 2x6's)!
​The Young Prodigy: 15-year-old RUHAAN SHAIKH showed immense maturity beyond his years, chipping in with a vital, aggressive 41 off 40 balls to keep the scoreboard ticking.

​THE BOWLING DEMOLITION JOB

Defending 291, our bowlers completely dismantled the opposition batting lineup, wrapping them up for just 110 runs.
​All-Round Heroics: After shining with the bat, SAINATH RAJOLI turned magic with the ball, picking up an incredible 5-wicket haul (5/18 in 6.3 overs) to absolutely break the opposition's back!
​The Supporting Cast: The other wicket-takers kept the pressure tight from both ends:
​AADITYA NILESH KHILARE: 2 wickets (2/35 in 7 overs)
​PREETHAM C SUNKAPUR: 2 wickets (2/27 in 5 overs)
​SUCHETAN HARIHAR: 1 wicket (1/7 in 2 overs)

A CRUCIAL LESSON FOR OUR YOUNG ACHIEVERS AT BDK Sports Foundation

​To all our budding cricketers training at the academy—from our U12s to our senior boys—pay close attention to this.
​Batting and bowling can have off-days. Form can fluctuate. But fielding is 100% about attitude, anticipation, and relentless hard work. As Manish says, it doesn't matter if it's raining or a sunny day; you train until the extraordinary becomes second nature.
​If you want to be a match-winner in the truest sense, you have to value the catches, the desperate dives, and the runs saved in the field just as much as a century or a five-wicket haul.
​We are incredibly proud to see a son of the soil setting the gold standard for fielding on the world stage. Let’s bring that exact same hunger and intensity to our training camps!

HARSHA SHANKE AND MOIN MULLA DECIMATE THE OPPOSITION AS BDK SPORTS FOUNDATION (C) BOUNCE BACK IN STYLE!

​BDK SPORTS FOUNDATION (C) U-19 team delivered a clinical performance against Bhatkal Sports Club (A) in the ongoing KSCA Dharwad Zone U-19 tournament 2026-27. After Bhatkal won the toss and elected to bat, they seemed comfortable at 91/3 at one point.
​Then, the HARSHA SHANKE storm arrived. Harsha completely bamboozled the opposition, ripping through their lineup to claim his consecutive 2nd 5-wicket haul with incredible figures of 6/14 in 8 overs. He was ably supported by SHIVPRASAD KARALE, who clinicaly picked up 2 wickets to help bundle out the opposition for 119.

​The chase was nothing short of a demolition job. MOHAMMED MOIN MULLA was in a league of his own, scoring a blistering 78 off just 42 balls* (12 fours, 3 sixes). Moin clobbered the opposition to record his 3rd consecutive 50 of the season.
​At the other end, AARUSH PUTHRAN played the perfect partner, remaining unbeaten on 24* as the duo shared a century opening partnership to finish the game in just 11 overs without losing a single wicket.

​BDK Sports Foundation (C): 120/0 (11.0 Overs)
