Be the part National Arm Wrestling Championship

Arm wrestiling Association of Sikkim (AWAS) invites aspiring candidates for trial sheduled to be held for National Arm Wrestling Championship which will be held on 16th to 17th September.
Corrigendum!

Attention please,
The selection trial date for National Arm Wrestling Championship scheduled to be held on 16, 17 and 18th September has been inadvertently mentioned as 8th September instead of 8th August. The selection trial for national arm wrestling championship will be held on August 8 on the auspicious occasion of Lepcha community's holy festival Tendong Lho Rum Faat. We express our apology and apprise the aspiring arm wrestlers to kindly mark the date for trial as on 8th August instead of 8th September. Venue and time will remain same as given in previous notice. It is a three days event.
Inconvenience is greatly regretted.

Proud moment for Sikkim.

GANESH KUMAR S***A, THE PRESIDENT OF UNITED ARM WRESTLING ASSOCIATION OFSIKKIM IS THE NEW GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE ARM WRESTLING FEDERATION OF INDIA

The Arm Wrestling Federation of India conducted its Annual General Meeting cm Referee Seminar on 21st April 2023 at Hotel Badyanat, NJP Siliguri. The event was attended by the Executive members of the federation.

The President of the federation, PS Bhagawati, provided a brief history of the federation and its achievements over the years. The federation has been actively promoting and developing arm wrestling in India through various events and initiatives. During the meeting, Mr. Ganesh Kumar S***a (Sikkim) resigned from his post as

Senior Vice President and was subsequently elected as the General Secretary of the federation. The house congratulated Mr. S***a on his new role. The meeting also discussed the next national event to be conducted by the

federation. The details of the event will be announced soon.

As part of the seminar, a Junior/Senior National Referee Seminar was also conducted. Three candidates from Sikkim, namely Amith Limboo, Lhendup Bhutia, and CK Chettri sat for the referee exam.

The newly elected General Secretary thanked everyone for their support and aspirations towards the growth of arm wrestling in India. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Janata Raj Kuwar, the Technical Director of the federation.
