PARTS OF A PARAGLIDER :

​Canopy (Wing): The inflatable ram-air foil made of ripstop fabric that generates lift.

​Lines: High-strength cords (upper, middle, lower cascades) that hold the wing's shape and transfer weight.

​Risers: Heavy-duty webbing straps connecting the lines to the harness; holds the brake toggles (steering) and speed bar system (acceleration).

​Harness: The seat unit equipped with impact protection, carabiners, and an emergency reserve parachute.
