XIX Sub- junior, VII Cadet , X junior & XXII Senior State Fencing Championship 2025-26, started from Today at SAI Indoor Stadium, Guwahati.The championship organised by Assam Fencing Association and supported by Sports Authority of India, Guwahati. Arround 150 players participated from 15 district. Compitition held in Epee,Foil and Sabre , event . compitition Will ended over by tomorrow.

Successfully completed ASMITA Women's Fencing City/District League, Guwahati at SAI Indoor Stadium on 22 march 2026. Honourable Chairman ,former Minister and founder president of AFA Sri Durgadas Boro was present to gress the the event,Sri Rajnish Kumar Mishra Assistant Director,SAI,Smt. Ananya Sarma ,Assit.Director ,SAI,Sri Dibakar Borah , president incharge AFA,Sri Adarsh Choudhary , Secretary,Assam karate Association and Executive member,AOA , Smt. Prativa Boro ,IC, Assam police Sports control Board and several AFA members were present in the closing ceremony.
Special thanks to Sports Authority of India, Guwahati and Fencing Association of India for their Support and Allotment of said Women's League. Thanks to All Technical officials and other Districts Associations members for making the ASMITA Women's Fencing League a grand success.

Nalbari District Fencing Association) Inaugurated by Honourable minister of Assam and President Nalbari District Fencing Association Sjt.Jayanta Malla Baruah in present of Honourable MLA and Chairman Assam Fencing Association. Assam Fencing Association office bearers and Nalbari District Fencing Association office bearers also present in this inauguration program. We hope that there will be better players emerging from this academy.Special thanks to Honourable minister of Assam and Nalbari District Fencing Association Executive Body members for this Great initiative for Fencing sports .Assam Fencing Association Congratulate to Nalbari District Fencing Association.
