We are proud Saiyam Mazumder and Chandra Keshar Yadav from Guwahati, Assam, made history by hoisting the Indian tricolour atop Mount Kilimanjaro.

20-foot Assamese Gamusa to the summit, blending patriotism with cultural pride. This effort set a new world record for the largest Gamusa taken to the peak of Kilimanjaro.

The expedition inspired thousands of young people across the country. It served as an emblem of resilience and ambition for Northeast India’s youth.
