India’s very own Chungren Koren goes to war tomorrow in the semi final at the Road to UFC season 5 against Japan’s Ryo Tajima in Shanghai, China.

Previously, Chungren entered the tournament on a few weeks notice and finished his opponent to qualify for the semi final round of the tournament.

Spending time preparing at multiple locations around the globe the Indian Rhino looks sharp and ready to go!!

We would like to wish him the very best for this clash, looking forward to him bringing home the W and competing in the final. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Chungren Koren gets the win over Ryuho Miyaguchi at season 5 of the Road to UFC event in Macau.

In the second round, Chungren hurt his opponent with a devastating upper cut and left hook on the feet to knock him down. Further, he damaged him with vicious ground strikes coupled with take downs and finally finished the fight with a Rear Naked Choke, bringing home the win for India.

Chungren took this fight on 3 weeks notice, and went through a gruelling weight cut to make it to the cage in fight night. The Indian Rhino fought and won this fight because of his heart and sheer will power.

With this victory we are now looking forward to a proper camp for his next fight in the semi finals of the Road to UFC season 5.

The next fight is in August 28th in Shanghai, China against a worthy Rio Tajima from Japan.

We would like to thank everyone who supported him and pushed him to get this far. It’s time for us to prepare and put on an another banger in August.
