❤SAFETY FIRST – FIRST TIME – EVERY TIME!
Wearing proper riding gear can reduce your risk of a motorcycle accident and it protects
you from environmental distractions like bugs, debris on the road, and even weather.
🌹🌹Instructions🌹🌹
RIDE BRIEFING: A general suggestion is to always arrive FIFTEEN MINUTES BEFORE
THE TIMEv MENTIONED. Ride plan will be briefed to the participants before the start and
is important for all participants to pay attention since instructions may differ from
previous rides.
💃HAND SIGNS BY LEAD: Must be copied and transferred by ALL riders so as to reach the
SWEEP. This is the brain of the group and all parts of the body must be communicated
what the brain is thinking to maintain a coherent ride.
💃 WHEN ASKED TO STOP CLEAR THE CARRIAGEWAY AND STOP ON EXTREME LEFT
SIDE: Please ALWAYS stop on the extreme left shoulder/kerbside of the road and stop IN
A SINGLE FILE ONE BEHIND THE OTHER . DO NOT STOP IN PARALLEL AND OBSTRUCT
TRAFFIC ON THE CARRIAGEWAY. Stopping in parallel on the road only increases your
probability of being hit by other vehicles.
💃UNSCHEDULED STOPS: For any unscheduled stops because we have to wait for others
to catch up or due to dense traffic that the group is scattered or for any other reason,
please DO NOT start removing your riding gear or do anything that will take time for
you to begin riding again – because the ride will start instantly when the group is
together again
💃PLEASE DO NOT OVERTAKE: MAINTAIN THE FORMATION – we are not racing –
maintain your position throughout the ride. You will begin the ride with someone ahead
of you and someone behind you – ideally that is how it must be at the end of the ride as
well unless some riders leave the ride in between.
- If you do not wish to ride in the group, please let one of your marshals know at any of
the stoppages during the ride – this way you will not hold up the group and the group
will not wait for you.
💃If you have a car that is following you, please instruct the driver to stay behind the
sweep at all times. The driver should not ride parallel to the cavalcade or cross the
cavalcade.
💃PLEASE STRICTLY ADHERE TO THE INSTRUCTIONS AND SIGNS GIVEN BY THE RIDE
LEAD, SWEEP AND MARSHALS. NOT DOING SO YOU WILL NOT ONLY ENDANGER
YOUR OWN LIFE BUT LIFE OF YOUR CO-RIDERS!
