If you have been thinking of "How to start dancing Kathak" here we present the 2nd video of the Basics of Kathak with Camellia Series. Whenever we hear "KATHAK", the first thing that comes to our mind is the Circles or spins taken by the performers. These spins are know as Chakkars. Here we share the technique of mastering the art of Chakkars. There are different types of Chakkars and in this video we will learn the chakkar based on : 8 Steps, 6 Steps, 5 Steps, 4 Steps, 3 Steps, 2Steps & 1 Step.

Hope you all are doing good.. Nrityalaya is introducing Summer Camp 2021.

It will be 1 month camp offering :

1. 3 Different Dance styles i.e.Bharatnatyam, Bollywood, Kathak.

2. 25 live sessions online covering 6 choreographies.

3. Tutorial videos will shared to ensure smooth practice.

4. Spotlight, personal attention and Feedback will be provided to each participant.

5. Certification on Graduation day.

Here is presenting a semi classical dance number in the song Mohe rang do laal from the movie Bajirao Mastani. The song that is very close to our heart and special.

We went to an amazing location Kusum Sarovar, Mathura to shoot this. Although there was a lot of heat that day we didn't let our spirits go down.
