I am writing to make an urgent humanitarian appeal on behalf of the people and animals of Assam. The state is currently facing devastating floods that have affected vast areas, resulting in immense suffering for both humans and animals.
Thousands of domestic animals, livestock, and wildlife have been injured, displaced, or left without food, clean water, and medical care. Many continue to struggle in flooded regions where access to veterinary services is extremely limited.
Vantara Foundation has earned nationwide recognition for its outstanding work in wildlife rescue, animal welfare, and emergency veterinary care. At this critical time, we humbly request your support for the flood-affected animals of Assam.
We sincerely appeal to Vantara Foundation to:
* Deploy veterinary doctors and emergency animal rescue teams to the worst-affected districts.
* Provide medicines, animal feed, medical equipment, and emergency treatment for injured and displaced animals.
* Extend financial and logistical support to local organizations and veterinary departments involved in rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
* Assist in the long-term rehabilitation of affected livestock and wildlife.
Your timely intervention could save countless animal lives and bring hope to communities that depend on them for their livelihoods.
The people of Assam would be deeply grateful for any assistance Vantara Foundation can provide during this difficult time.
