A Small Gesture of Support from the Assam Olympic Association for the Flood-Affected People of Sivasagar, Nazira, and Charaideo
The flood relief initiative launched on 26 July by the President of the Assam Olympic Association and Hon’ble Union Minister, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, along with Shri Dilip Saikia, Member of Parliament from the Mangaldoi–Udalguri Lok Sabha Constituency, has continued uninterrupted over the past three days.
The relief programme is being successfully implemented under the leadership of Hiren Gogoi and Niranjan Saikia, Joint Secretaries of the Assam Olympic Association, along with Sharat Hazarika and Bhupen Gogoi, Executive Members, in collaboration with the Sivasagar District Sports Association, Charaideo District Sports Association, and Dibrugarh District Sports Association.
The Assam Olympic Association extends our heartfelt gratitude to every well-wisher and every member of the Olympic family who has come forward to support the flood-affected people during this difficult time.
I sincerely pray for the safety, well-being, and speedy recovery of every individual affected by the floods.
