The Basketball Association of Sikkim (BAS) proudly sent its Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s teams to participate in the 75th Senior National Basketball Championship, held at Chennai from 4th to 11th January 2026.
This championship marked a historic milestone, as it was the first-ever participation of teams from Sikkim in the Senior National Basketball Tournament.
The Senior Women’s Team delivered an outstanding performance, winning three matches during the championship, while the Men’s team also won their maiden game and gained valuable experience at the national level.
