In today's Inter School Men's Under 16 League Matches, ARITHANG S S played against MODERN SSS at the Guards ground in Gangtok. Modern SSS won the toss and chose to field first. ARITHANG S S batted first and scored 97/6 in their respective 20 overs. In response, MODERN SSS scored 98/6 in 10.1 overs, winning the match by 4 wickets.

In today U-19 girls' match between West Point Sr. Secondary School and RONGNECK SECONDARY SCHOOL at Guards Ground in Gangtok. West Point Sr Sec School won the toss and opted to bat first. They scored 109/2 in 10.0 overs. In reply, RONGNECK SECONDARY SCHOOL scored 45/5 in their respective 10 overs. West Point School won the match by 66 runs.

Similarly, there was a U-16 Boy's match between NANDOK S S MODERN SSS and Nandok S S. Modern SSS won the toss and opted to field. NANDOK S S scored 110/10 in 16.1 overs. In reply, MODERN SSS were all out in 13.1 overs scoring 97. Nandok SS won the match by 21 runs.

Inter-school Cricket Match between Rongneck Secondary School vs Ranka Sr. Secondary School at Guards Ground, Gangtok.

Ranka Senior Secondary School won the toss and elected to bowl first. The Rongnek team batted first and set a target of 108 runs for Ranka Senior Secondary School to chase. In response, Ranka Senior Secondary School performed exceptionally well, and they were able to achieve the target with ease, winning the match by 8 wickets. It was a great performance by the Ranka Senior Secondary School team.

The Gangtok District Cricket Committee has officially inaugurated its highly-anticipated inter-school cricket tournament on the 27th of April, 2024. This annual event is organized under the aegis of the prestigious Sikkim Cricket Association and is considered to be a hotbed for discovering new cricketing talents. This year, a total of 10 U16 boys teams and 5 U19 girls teams are participating in the tournament, showcasing their skills and abilities on the field. The GDCC are hopeful that this year's tournament will inspire more schools to participate in the next edition, providing a platform for talented youth to hone their cricketing abilities and achieve greater heights in the sport.

A general meeting was held at Gangtok under the chairmanship of Senior member Gangtok District Cricket Committee Mr Krishna Chandra Sharma on 06/01/2023 for the formation of Gangtok District Cricket Committee. The following was taken up to bring a new resolution in the work ethic of the Cricket Committee under Gangtok for the betterment of the players and the overall administration of the committee.
Subsequently, the executive body of the new Gangtok District Cricket was formed.
1.President: Mr Rajen Gurung
2. Vice President: Mr Wangyal Lepcha
3. Honorary Secretary: Mr Chedup Bhutia
4. Joint Secretary: Mr Sonam Dorjee Bhutia
5. Treasurer: Mr Sabir Alam
Further the following resolution were adopted and passed unanimously for the upliftment of game in the state of Sikkim.
1. To promote game in the State
2.To give fair and equal opportunities to all.
3.To maintain transparency in the affairs of committee
4. To inquire and takeover about the development and financial details from previous body.
