On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, a Volley Tournament was organised by ABVP CUG Sports Work, which was inaugurated by our respected Vice- Chancellor Prof.Rama Shankar Dubey Sir. In which 8 teams participated. 2 women's and 6 men's teams took part. In men, 2 teams reached the final (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel team and Swami Vivekananda team), with Swami Vivekananda team winning and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel team runner-up. In women, Rani Laxmibai team was the winner and Sarojini Naidu team was the runner-up. After the conclusion of the tournament, the winner, runner-up and women's winning team were presented trophies by our chief guest Shiven Barot (Sports Convenor, Gujarat Prant); and
Nisarg Rathod (Co-Convenor, Think India, Gujarat Prant). After this the end of the tournament was announced.
