Dr. Xubair Memorial Volley-Ball Tournament 2012 All Professional colleges are invited to participate in the tournament. Venue:College Ground, SKIMS MC, Bemina.

In the memory of our beloved Friend & Sports Secretary Late Dr. Xubair Chowdhary (Final MBBS Part-II) of SKIMS Medical College who died in a tragic snow-sliding accident at Sonamarg on 11 sept.,2012.. A first ever Volley-ball open tournament is being organised in SKIMS MC Bemina w.e.f. 26th Nov.,2012 in the memory of our beloved Friend & Sports Secretary Late Dr. Xubair Chowdhary (Final MBBS Part

-II). Interested teams are directed to register themselves by or before 24th of Nov.,2012. Date of Commencement : 26th Nov.,2012 Onwards
Inaugration ceremony: 10a.m. on 25th Nov.,2012

XUBAIR MEMORIAL VOLLEYBALL
TOURNAMENT 2013
which was started on 31st Aug, concluded here today with SKIMS WARRIORS (Final year Students) emerged as the winner & Immortals remained the Runner up of the event. Total of 4 teams participated viz. SKIMS WARRIORS, Immortals (2nd MBBS) , Sand Blasters (GMC SGR), Gladiators (Prefinal) in the tournament. Later Dr. Rafiq Mir (HoD PSM), Dr. Ashfaq (Consultant PSM & Sports Incharge), Dr. Khurshid (HoD Microbiology & Academics Incharge) felicitated the participants & distributed prizes among the players.

This tournament was organised in the memory of our beloved friend & Ex-Sports Secy. Students CASS Union SKIMS MC who left for heavenly abode on 11th Sept , 2012 in a tragic Snow-Sliding Accident at Sonamarg, Srinagar.
