1) No pre-workout warmup/stretching: Warmups prepare your body for working out by raising the temperature and increasing blood flow to the muscles.

2) Not hydrating: You sweat during workouts, thus losing fluids from your body. Make sure you sip on water before, during and after workouts to maintain your fluid levels and keep your performance levels high.

3) No rest between sets: Resting between sets allows your muscles to restore energy for the next set and boost your performance and, thus, gains. The ideal rest time is between 2 and 5 minutes after each set!

4) No progressive overloading training routine: As you get stronger, it is important to keep changing your workouts and progressing in them. This keeps your muscles challenged and helps you become stronger.

5) Ego lifting: Lifting super heavy weights may satisfy your ego, but it also increases your risk of injury, reduces your gains, and leads to the development of bad form habits.
