On the second day of the MP Sports Competition, a vibrant range of sports events were organized with great enthusiasm for both men and women. Events included athletics, basketball, badminton, table tennis, taekwondo, judo, tug-of-war, hockey, wrestling, yoga, ice stock, pittu, handball, tennis, shooting, gymnastics, boxing, fencing, weightlifting, kho-kho, volleyball, women’s cricket, powerlifting, chess, mallakhamb, and pencak silat.

The event organized for the Indian women's basketball team at Eklavya Stadium in Agra was graced by the presence of the Honorable Shri Satyapal Singh Baghel, Minister in the Government of India and Member of Parliament from the Agra Lok Sabha constituency.

Sandeep Yadav of Bareka Appointed Head Coach of Uttar Pradesh Senior Women's Basketball Team

Banaras Locomotive Works (Bareka) has established a unique identity not only in the field of locomotive manufacturing but also in the world of sports at the national and international levels.

Mr. Sandeep Yadav, Head Coach of the Bareka Basketball Team and Chief Office Superintendent, has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Uttar Pradesh Senior Women's Basketball Team by the Uttar Pradesh Basketball Association. Under his leadership, the Uttar Pradesh Senior Women's Basketball Team will participate in the 75th Senior National Basketball Championship to be held in Chennai (Tamil Nadu) from January 4th to January 11th, 2026.

To prepare for this national competition, a pre-coaching camp for the Uttar Pradesh team will be held in Agra from December 18th, 2025 to January 1st, 2026, where Mr. Sandeep Yadav will provide training to the players.

It is noteworthy that Mr. Sandeep Yadav has previously rendered commendable services as the coach of the Uttar Pradesh Men's and Women's Under-23 Basketball Teams.

This significant achievement has created an atmosphere of joy and pride among Bareka's players and sports enthusiasts. This success is not only a matter of honor for Bareka but also encourages a sports culture among the employees.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Public Relations Officer and Basketball Secretary of Bareka, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Sandeep Yadav on this appointment and wished him a bright future and great success for the team.

आपको सूचित किया जाता है कि नए लगाए गए 160 MVA T/F–III से संबंधित LV साइड जैक बस स्ट्रिंगिंग काम के लिए 220 KV एटा सबस्टेशन पर 132 KV मेन बस का शटडाउन 14.12.2025 को 08:00 बजे से 11:30 बजे तक निर्धारित किया गया है।
उपरोक्त शटडाउन अवधि के दौरान, 220 KV एटा सबस्टेशन से निकलने वाले सभी 33 KV फीडरों और 132 KV एटा-श्री सीमेंट लाइन की बिजली सप्लाई पूरी तरह से प्रभावित रहेगी।
