🏆🥋 4TH WEST DELHI DISTRICT PENCAK SILAT CHAMPIONSHIP 2026-27 🥋🏆

A grand and successful Championship was organized at Sarvodaya Girls School, B Block, Janakpuri, New Delhi, with the enthusiastic participation of 204 players from various schools, academies, and clubs.

We were honored to welcome Mr. B. P. Kunjan, Deputy Director, EDU. Zone-14, DOE Delhi, as the Chief Guest of the championship. During the event, he encouraged all athletes to work hard towards a bright future and appreciated the discipline, skill, and spirit displayed by the participants.

After witnessing the thrilling performances and rich traditions of the martial art of Pencak Silat, Mr. Kunjan highly praised the sport and congratulated the organizers, coaches, referees, and players for their dedication. He also distributed medals and awards to the winning athletes and motivated them to continue striving for excellence.

👏 Congratulations to all medal winners and participants for their outstanding performances.

Special thanks to all coaches, referees, officials, volunteers, parents, and supporters who contributed to the success of this championship.

All District Associations, Coaches, and Players of Delhi are informed that the Indian Pencak Silat Federation is organizing a National Coaches & Referees Seminar on new rules and regulations under the guidance of a High Performance Coach from PERSILAT.

This seminar is part of the “Pencak Silat Road to Olympic” Program in collaboration with the Pencak Silat Federation of Asia (PFA) and PERSILAT, aimed at improving standards for upcoming international events including the Asian Games 2026.

📍 Venue: Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex
📅 Dates: 16th to 19th May 2026
📝 Reporting: 15th May 2026
✈️ Departure: 20th May 2026

💰 Fee: ₹5000/- per participant (including boarding, lodging & course expenses)

All District Associations are requested to send names of eligible Coaches & Referees at the earliest. Discipline and rules must be strictly followed by all participants.

The open selection trials for the 10th Senior Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2026, to be held in Vietnam, are scheduled to take place on 17th and 18th May 2026 at the SK Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar.

All athletes from various districts who have not yet registered for participation in the trials are hereby advised to complete their registration at the earliest.

Timely registration and participation in the trials are of utmost importance.

For further information, please contact your respective coach, district association, or concerned officials.

The Pencak Silat Sports Association of Delhi successfully organized the Asmita Khelo India Pencak Silat Women’s League on 8th March 2026 in Delhi to commemorate International Women’s Day. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 150 women players from across Delhi, who showcased their talent, dedication, and sporting spirit in the martial art of Pencak Silat.

The league was organized with the objective of encouraging women’s participation in sports and promoting self-defense and physical fitness among women. The competition provided a valuable platform for female athletes to demonstrate their skills and gain competitive experience.

The Pencak Silat Sports Association of Delhi expressed its commitment to continuously promoting women’s empowerment through sports and supporting the vision of the Asmita Khelo India initiative to strengthen women’s participation at all levels of sport
