Ajay Kaila Wellness Coach Helping Corporates and Individuals in their mindfulness journey. Something inside me shifted forever. Was it my lifestyle? The list in my head was endless!

It was the year 2007 when, at an early age of 48, I managed to find myself facing a host of health setbacks. The reports came in and so did the news, I had developed high cholesterol & high blood pressure. In 2009, after an early morning scare wherein I found myself with an acute pain in the upper right corner of my chest, i was taken to a Heart Institute & underwent an angioplasty. I thought to m

yself, what was I doing, that was killing me silently? As with anyone else, I longed to understand what was going on with me, was it the food habits? Or was it the stress of work and relationships that was adding to my condition? After much deliberation; I decided to take action. It was time to take matters in my own hands. 3 years after I was diagnosed with the heart condition, I started practicing yoga therapy. I followed that with meditation, new food habits and a whole lot of research to understand how the body, mind & spirit connection works. I found answers that I had never known existed. I found a path to a healthier body and mind. I now live with a newfound sense of awareness and consciously ensure that I listen to my body & tend to it. This arose a sense of longing to share my learnings with others, to help them on this journey of the balance of the mind and the body. To make this passion a reality, I acquired the “Life Coaching Certification” from CCA and now I am a Certified Wellness Life Coach.

To understand your anxiety means to investigate your emotions deeper. This can be pretty tough and uncomfortable for some people. To help ease the process and get you started... here are a few 'key' things you need to ask yourself honest questions about how you feel.⁠

Once you have these key behaviours in place, maintain an attitude of kindness and honesty towards yourself as you ask:⁠

What do I not want to accept?⁠
What feelings does this bring up?⁠
What conclusions do I automatically make? And do I really agree?⁠
What is the part of this that hurts me most?⁠
What is the most difficult thing I believe about myself. And is that really true?⁠
Do I feel any part of this in my body? Can I pay attention to that just for a moment?⁠
What question do I really wish someone would ask me right now, but no one ever does? And what would I say in response?⁠
⁠Write these down. Reflect.⁠ ⁠
