The Pencak Silat Sports Association of Delhi successfully organized the Asmita Khelo India Women’s Pencak Silat League 2025 from 13th to 14th December 2025 at GBSSS No. 2, Khyala, Delhi. Around 700 women athletes from various parts of Delhi participated enthusiastically in this prestigious competition and showcased their outstanding sporting skills.
During the league, the Association’s Chief Patron Mr. Ashok Tanwar graced the event as the Special Guest. He encouraged the athletes and highlighted the significant role of sports in women empowerment. He also guided the players on the importance of discipline, self-confidence, and consistent practice.
On this occasion, the Association’s Vice President Mr. Vijay Babu Sharma and General Secretary Mr. Rajesh Kumar were also present. They extended their best wishes to all the participating athletes and motivated them to perform excellently at national and international levels in the future.
The main objective of the league was to provide a strong platform for women athletes, nurture their talent, and promote the martial art sport of Pencak Silat. The successful conduct of the event generated great enthusiasm among players, coaches, and sports enthusiasts.
The organizers stated that they will continue to make consistent efforts in the future to promote and support women athletes through such competitions.
