On 11th May 2025 at New Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh Throwball Association (APTA) Secretary Mr. Bamang Takey extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Jamru Kakum, Head of State Technical Board, for successfully completing the Referee Upgradation Program for second consecutive year. He also congratulated Mr. Kabak John, Senior Member of State Referee Board, for successfully completing the Referee Program for first year, recently held in Himachal Pradesh.

Their dedication and achievements have brought immense pride to association and state. APTA looks forward to achieving greater success and promoting throwball at state, national, and international levels.

Arunachal Pradesh Throwball Association (APTA) is proud to inform everyone that two of our esteemed members have successfully completed the Referee Clinic & Upgradation Program 2026–27, held on 09th–10th May 2026 in Himachal Pradesh.

Arunachal Pradesh Throwball Association has sent a recommendation letter to Throwball Federation of India, nominating two male players and one female player for inclusion in the selection process for upcoming National Team, which will participate in *2nd South Asian Throwball Championship 2026 to be held at Kathmandu, Nepal.*
Best wishes to our nominated players. We sincerely hope that our recommended players will selected for National Team and bring pride to our state.

Yesterday, a brief interaction-cum-gathering of State Senior Throwball Team players was held at Hotel Arun Subansiri, Itanagar, in the presence of Secretary, APTA, Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and team players.
On this occasion, National participation Certificates were distributed to players who have participated in 48th Senior National Throwball Championship 2025–26 held at Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Today, Arunachal Pradesh Throwball Association (APTA) successfully conducted a General Meeting with all the District Units of APTA at Hotel River View, Barapani, Naharlagun, under the chairmanship of Shri Bamang Takey, Secretary, APTA.

The key agenda of meeting included:

1. Discussion on upcoming 1st Ever State Level Throwball Championship 2025 at Itanagar.

2. Training camps to be organized by all affiliated District Units before the Championship.

3. Conducting Annual General Meeting (AGM) during the State Level Throwball Championship.

After a fruitful roundtable discussion, APTA has unanimously decided to host "1st Ever State Level Throwball Championship 2025" at Itanagar within this month (exact date to be announced soon). All affiliated District Units have agreed to participate in this historic event, representing their respective districts with full enthusiasm.

It was also resolved that Championship will be conducted for Junior Category (Boys & Girls). Furthermore, APTA has directed all District Units to organize their training camps before 20th November 2025, with technical coaches to be provided by APTA.

Secretary, APTA, has earnestly requested all districts to extend their full cooperation and collective effort for the successful conduct of state Championship. He also requested District Unit representatives to coordinate with Shri Bem Janu Bingdung, Treasurer, APTA, for any queries or arrangements related to district-level training camps.

The meeting witnessed active participation of APTA Treasurer, State Technical Assistant, Presidents, Secretaries, and Executive Members from various District Units, resulting in a productive and successful outcome.
