This one is extremely special. Big congrats to SNM trainee Pratyaksh for reaching his 1st ITF Singles Final in Kathmandu this week. Pratyaksh finished runners up in the ITF J60 event IN Kathmandu, Nepal after beating the 2nd, 4th and 6th seeds of the tournament in straight sets. Unfortunately Pratyaksh had twisted his ankle during his semi finals and had to retire mid-way in the Finals.
It was an extremely commendable effort considering Pratyaksh had been injured for most of the latter part of 2022. Kudos to all the work you’ve put in Pratyaksh with all the travels to Singapore to train with us and through tough times and injuries. Huge effort on the part of Pratyaksh’s parents Pradeep and Pallavi for raising such a fine kid, supporting his tennis all the way and we feel you guys have a future tennis star in the making.
We at SNM feel great to see all our hard work over many years show in an international event. We’ve been grooming Pratyaksh since January 2018 and it’s an amazing feeling building a player from the ground up from such a young age.
Onwards and upwards from here Pratyaksh. Lots of work ahead of you but this result shows if you’re fit you’re meant for big things. Believe in yourself always and keep at it.
We love you and are very proud of you.
