Gurparshad Power Zone Gym Inaugurated at Jahangirpuri Gurdwara to Empower Youth Through Fitness
Delhi, 29th September 2025 – A new chapter in community service and youth empowerment unfolded today with the inauguration of the “Gurparshad Power Zone Gym” at Gurdwara I Block, Jahangirpuri, Azad Pur, Delhi 110033. The initiative aims to encourage fitness, health, and well-being among local youth while strengthening the bond between Sikhi, seva, and sports.
The gym, set up within the sacred premises of the Gurdwara, provides modern fitness facilities for the community at nominal charges. This unique blend of spirituality and fitness is designed to inspire young people to embrace an active lifestyle while staying rooted in their cultural and religious values.
The project is a collaborative effort of the Sikh Games Federation of India (SGFI), Advocate Jagminder Singh, S. Iqbal Singh, and the dedicated Gurparshad Parchar Wing team. A special highlight of the inauguration was the generous sponsorship of gym equipment by Adv. Jagminder Singh of SGFI, whose contribution ensures quality facilities for the youth.
The event witnessed the presence and blessings of several dignitaries and supporters, including:

Technical expertise in setting up the gym was extended by Sonu Malik (Sonipat) and Anu Rajput, both from a professional gym background, ensuring that the facility meets the needs of aspiring fitness enthusiasts.
Speaking about the initiative, SGFI representatives expressed their commitment to providing platforms where Sikh youth can grow stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually. “This gym is not just about lifting weights, it’s about lifting the spirit of our community,” one official said.
The inauguration was warmly welcomed by the community and has also garnered recognition in leading publications, highlighting the positive impact of this initiative.
With the launch of the Gurparshad Power Zone Gym, the Sikh Games Federation of India continues to carry forward its vision of promoting sports, health, and unity under the guiding principles of Sikhi.
