Someone called her selfish.
Someone else called her courageous.
Someone thought she was a bad mother.
Someone else saw a woman building a life for herself and her family.
Same woman.
Same choice.
Different lenses.
We often forget that people don’t see us exactly as we are. They see us through their own experiences, beliefs, fears, expectations and conditioning.
So when someone judges you, don’t immediately turn their opinion into a conclusion about yourself.
Listen. Reflect.
Ask yourself: Is there something here I need to learn, or am I simply looking through someone else’s lens?
Because someone’s opinion of you is their interpretation of you — not automatically the truth about you.
Don’t carry someone else’s judgment as your identity.
