Soniaa Gupta Rao is one of the most promising exponent of Kathak Dance with some outstanding achievements to her credit. She had her training in the true traditional Jaipur Gharana style under the able guidance of Guru Pt. RAJENDRA GANGANI. With years of intense training and dedication she has attained near perfection in presenting the idioms of pure dance in addition to flawless footwork, padhant

& Laykari and other intricacies of the art. A post graduate certificate holder from 'Kathak Kendra' under the tutelage of Sh. Rajendra Gangani. Her inborn talents got her the scholarship also at the 'Kendra'. Dance is her passion and she was able to achieve a fair degree of her success by diving deep into the vast ocean of this fine art thus fulfilling the demands of her passion. Soon performances all over India and countries abroad followed. She was associated with some eminent Gurus and artists like Shovana Narayan, Uma Sharma, Geetanjali Lal, Malti Shyam, Rani Khanam, Kishan Mohan Mishra & more...
