At Own Your Spotlight 2026, I had the privilege of serving as a jury member and listening to the journeys of women who chose to build something of their own.

Behind every business, every achievement, and every milestone was a story.

A story of starting with limited resources.
Of facing uncertainty.
Of hearing “it won’t work.”
And still choosing to move forward.

What inspired me most was realizing that success rarely happens in one big moment.

It is built through hundreds of small decisions to keep going.

Being part of this event reminded me that when women step forward, they don’t just create success for themselves. They inspire another woman to believe, “I can do this too.”

Asking random discovery questions.
Forgetting to ask for referrals.
Prospecting only when business slowed down.

And preparing outreach only when he needed clients.

That is not a sales problem.
That is a system problem.

Because the best sales process does not depend on pressure.

It depends on preparation.

Delivering this session on Teaching Excellence and Pedagogical Innovation felt especially meaningful because I have also worked as a principal in the past.
