Under the keen mentorship of the ace shooter Shri. Manavjit Singh Sandhu and guidance our athelete Bakhtiyar Malik started his journey in Shooting Sports.

He has been selected under the Khelo India Program and will also be representing Gujarat State in Trap Shooting Events in Shooting Sports during this month which are being hosted in Gujarat.

Its all vision and dedication of his mentor, parents and indeed the extended support by Gujarat State Rifle Association.

Manavjit Singh Sandhu is an Indian sport shooter who specialises in trap shooting.

He is Khel Ratna Awardee in 2006 and Arjuna Awardee in 1998.

He is a 4 time Olympian, having represented India at the Athens 2004 Summer Olympics, Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics the London 2012 Summer Olympics and the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. He is former World No. 1 ranked Trap Shooter.

It is with great sadness that we announce Shri. Akbar Malik father of Shri. Muzahid Malik, who passed away last night. Funeral will be held today at 10 AM at Dasada, Surendranagar.

May the departed soul rest in eternal peace.

At recently conducted 41st Gujarat State Trap Shooting Championship Competition at Gandhinagar Bakhtiyar Malik Scored 112/125 in Single Trap and got 2 Gold Medal in Trap Event. Tarun Kumar Gunja scored 37/50 and got a Bronze medal in Trap event. Bakhtiyar also got a Gold for team event while Tarun got 2 Silver in Team Event.

Malik Bakhtiyar scored magnificent 119 at 2nd Selection Trial standing 3rd in Junior Men and 4th in Senior Men Single Trap for Indian Team.

Under the firm supervision and guidance of Manavjit Sandhu recipient of Khel Ratna Award and Arjuna Award, Bakhtiyar performance been firm and consistent.
