It is with immense grief that we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved student, Viyan Chettri, student of St.Robert’s School, Class 6. Words fall short to express the pain of losing such a young, bright, and kind soul.

Viyan’s absence has left a void that can never be filled. In this unbearable moment of loss, we extend our deepest strength, and prayers to his family.

May his innocent soul find eternal peace, and may God give his loved ones the courage to bear this irreparable loss. 🙏🏻

Proud Achievement for Darjeeling Sports Academy!

We’re thrilled to announce that Miss Rai — a shining star of Darjeeling Sports Academy — has proudly brought home the 🏆 Champion’s Title in Under-11 Girls’ Singles, defeating the Sikkim State Champion, Miss Surabhi Gurung, in a thrilling match!

This remarkable victory took place at the 1st Soreng Open Badminton Championship 2025, organised by Soreng Badminton Association, held at the Indoor Stadium, Jautar, Soreng District, Sikkim, from 13th to 15th April 2025.

👏 A big shoutout to our team of 15 talented players who represented Darjeeling Sports Academy across various categories, displaying exceptional skill, discipline, and sportsmanship.

We express our sincere gratitude to Shri Jacob Khaling Sir, Political Advisor to the Honourable Chief Minister of Sikkim, for his generous 💰 financial assistance, which enabled our participation in this prestigious tournament.
