*Instructions- Selection/Training for WYC-2021*
The Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) will be conducting the selection trials at Jamshedpur, for the IFSC World Youth Championship, which is being held in Russia from 21st Aug β 31st Aug 2021.
A training camp will be organised for selected athletes. The camp will be organised by IMF East Zone, in association with the Tata Adventure Foundation.

Process for the Selection of Team
1. Interested athlete to fill the registration form as per link given by 18th July, 2021 : https://forms.office.com/r/mVHYvzYXSw
2. Based on the profile, athletes will be shortlisted for :-
a) Stage 1 β Virtual Trials β Athletes will climb nearby climbing walls on the video call from 19 to 20 July, 2021.
b) Stage 2 β Final Trials at Jamshedpur β Selected athletes will be called to Jamshedpur for the final trials from 24 July to 28 July, 2021.
3. On the basis of final trials, selected athletes will be trained at Jamshedpur for approx. 2 weeks before their departure to the World Youth Championship.
4. The selected participants will have to be funded by the respective zones or by private sponsors . The IMF will only facilitate the selections.
5. Participants will have to arrange their own travel to Jamshedpur and back.
6. Athletes will be required to bring -ve RT PCR test before the travel and they will be tested on arrival also.
7. Accommodation and food will be provided to athletes during trials.
8. Participants will have to bring their own equipment and kit for the trials (Harness, climbing shoes, chalk bag, chalk powder and all necessary gears).
9. Trials and training will be conducted as per Covid 19 protocols.
10. Parents and coaches traveling to Jamshedpur along with the athletes, will have to make their own arrangements.
