RIL DMD returned to winning mode in RIL JIO Intersite Cricket Tournament beating RIL NMD by 87 runs.

Batsmen put up good score with significant contribution from Ketan Desai unbeaten 66(53), Gajendra Raj 44(31) & Manjoorali Revasiya 32(25).

Bowlers backed the batting with superlative spells from Hitendra Parmar (4-1-17-4) & Bhavin Vadodariya (4-0-17-3).

RIL DMD lost their first match of RIL JIO Intersite Tournament by 5 wickets to RIL-RCP. Batting first RIL DMD came back from 63/[email protected] overs to post 119 in 20 overs with an unbeaten last wicket partnership of 56 (34). Manjoorali Revasiya played an extraordinary knock of 56 n.o of 34 balls.

Bowlers lead by Jayendra Chavda, Bhavin Vadodariya, Suman Sarbobhouma & Ketan Desai lead the fightback with some disciplined bowling to stretch the match to final over. With three runs required of 2 balls an outside edge of Ketan Desai delivery gone to third man boundary finish the match.

Tournament to commence from 1st January with two matches on day & night basis. Expecting a grand tournament this year as well.

Faster bowlers & top order batsmen had a rather disappointing day.

Nitesh Chavda led the fight back for DMD both in bowling (23/4) & batting (48 of 29).

Bhavin Vadodariya also scored a valuable 38.
