Working out is already uncomfortable enough.

You shouldn’t also have to worry about
pulling your top down every few minutes…
adjusting leggings between sets…
or wondering if people are noticing how uncomfortable you feel.

And I think that’s something a lot of plus-size women quietly relate to.

Because when activewear doesn’t fit right,
you don’t feel free.

You feel conscious.
Distracted.
Restricted in your own body.

For the longest time, I thought maybe I just needed to get smaller first.

But honestly?
The issue was never movement.

It was the clothes that made movement feel uncomfortable.

And once I stopped forcing myself into activewear that wasn’t made for my body…
showing up for workouts became so much easier mentally.

Not because I suddenly became more disciplined.

But because I finally felt comfortable enough to focus on myself instead of constantly adjusting what I was wearing.

Oversized breathable T-shirts helped me feel more at ease personally.

And for bottoms + sports bras, BlissClub worked better for me comfort-wise.

Not sponsored.
Just sharing something that genuinely made the process feel less intimidating.

Because comfort matters more than people admit.

And when you feel comfortable…
you show up more confidently.

Sometimes…
you don’t actually miss the person.

You miss who you were with them.

The version of you that felt softer.
Safer.
More open without overthinking everything.

And that’s the part nobody talks about enough.

Because after people leave…
we spend so much time asking,

“Why do I still think about them?”

when the deeper question is

“What did that connection make me feel about myself?”

Maybe they made you feel seen.
Chosen.
Calm.
Alive in a way you hadn’t felt in a long time.

And once you experience that…
of course it’s hard to let go.

Not always because of them.

But because you quietly started grieving
the version of yourself that existed in that space.

And honestly…
that realization changes everything.

Because healing stops becoming about chasing people back.

And starts becoming about understanding yourself more deeply.

What you needed.
What you ignored.
What felt missing before that connection ever happened.

Not to blame yourself.

Not to overanalyse every feeling.

Just to become more aware of yourself… instead of abandoning yourself.

Slowly.
Honestly.
Without pretending you’re completely over it.

And maybe that’s where healing actually begins.

25/05/2026

Maybe you really were trying to move on.

But some part of you still wanted to know if you mattered to them.

That’s why you check sometimes.
That’s why certain names still make you pause.
Not because you’re obsessed.
Not because you can’t let go.

But because feelings don’t disappear just because you decided they should.

And I think a lot of people pretend they don’t care…
when actually they just don’t know how to sit with what they feel.

So they avoid it.
Joke about it.
Act “unbothered.”
Move quickly.
Distract themselves.

But deep down…
they’re still looking for clarity.

Not attention.
Not validation.

Just something that helps them understand why it affected them this much in the first place.

And honestly…
becoming aware of that is important.

Because the things we keep hiding usually end up controlling us quietly.

Most people think they’re stuck because they need a better plan.

A stricter routine.
More motivation.
More discipline.

But honestly…
a lot of the time, that’s not the real issue.

Because the problem usually isn’t what you don’t know.

It’s what you keep ignoring.

The small habits you keep excusing.
The “I’ll start properly tomorrow” mindset.
The days you know you could’ve shown up… but chose comfort instead.

And after a while, you stop questioning those patterns.
You start calling them normal.

That’s why change feels difficult for so many people.

Not because change itself is impossible.
But because being honest with yourself is uncomfortable.

It’s uncomfortable to admit that sometimes…
you are the one standing in your own way.

Not your schedule.
Not your workout split.
Not your lack of information.

Just the constant habit of negotiating with yourself.

And the hardest part is…
from the outside, it can still look like you’re trying.

That’s why real progress usually starts with honesty first.

Not a new plan.
A new standard for yourself.

You keep telling yourself you need a better routine.
A better diet.
A better plan.

But what if that’s not actually why you’re stuck?

Because from the outside… it looks like you’re trying.

You start again.
You show up for a few days.
You eat well sometimes.
You watch the videos.
You make the plans.

But the moment it stops feeling exciting…
you slowly disappear from your own process.

And most people never notice that part.

Not because they don’t know what to do.
But because they avoid the things they know they need to fix.

The habits they keep delaying.
The discipline they keep negotiating with.
The patterns they keep repeating.

That’s usually where people get stuck.

Quietly.
Slowly.
Repeatedly.

Not in one big failure.

But in the small moments where they stop showing up consistently.

And honestly…
that’s harder to confront than following a plan.

If this felt a little too personal to hear,
save it for the days you start convincing yourself to quit again.

Evenings are usually where my snack cravings show up. Not because I’m always hungry… mostly because I want something quick.

So this became one of those small habits that made life easier.

I keep a few protein basics ready in advance - roasted soya chunks, boiled channa, sprouts. Nothing complicated.

Just prepped, stored, and ready.

When I’m hungry, I toss them into a bowl, add onion, cucumber, lemon, spices… and in a few minutes, I have something filling without standing in the kitchen wondering what to eat.

And I’ve realised something - eating better became easier when I stopped depending on motivation and started depending on preparation.

Simple habit. Easier evenings.
Save this for your evening cravings.

I used to think reheating food was the easiest part.

Just put it in the microwave and move on.

But after meal prepping for a while, I realised something…

Too much heat changes everything.

Rice turns dry.
Vegetables lose their crunch.
Protein becomes tough.

Now I do things a little differently.

A splash of water for grains.
Gentle heat for proteins.
A quick toss for veggies.

Nothing complicated. Just small changes that make leftovers taste a lot more like real meals again.

Because sometimes it’s not about reheating faster.
It’s about reheating better.

Save this for later.

I started making hung curd at home because I wanted a thicker, creamier version of curd.

But somewhere along the way, it became one of those things I always like having in my fridge.

A quick dip with vegetables.
A sandwich spread.
A paneer marinade.
A last-minute raita.

One simple prep somehow turns into so many meals through the week.

And that’s probably my favourite kind of meal prep now… not making more food, just making one thing that works in many ways.

Save this for later.

Meal prep doesn’t have to mean spending hours in the kitchen or preparing the same meal for 7 days straight.

Sometimes it’s just making life easier before the busy days begin.

Cook a few basics.
Prep proteins.
Store carbs and vegetables smartly.
Keep ingredients separate so you can mix and match meals throughout the week.

Because good meal prep isn’t about filling your fridge.

It’s about creating options.

Small habits like cooling food properly, avoiding overcooking, and storing ingredients the right way can help save time, reduce waste, and make healthy eating feel a lot more realistic.

The goal was never perfection.

Just making healthy choices easier… one small prep at a time.
Save this for your next grocery day.

Nobody talks enough about this part of change.

The part before the gym.
Before the routines.
Before everything starts looking “disciplined.”

The quiet phase.

The phase where you realise things aren’t working anymore… and you decide to stop pretending they are.

I thought I needed to completely transform my life overnight.

Turns out, I didn’t.

For a while, the goal wasn’t weight loss.

It was sleeping better.
Eating simple food.
Moving whenever I could.

Nothing extreme.
Nothing impressive.

Just learning how to take care of myself again.

And looking back now… I think that changed more than I realised.

Maybe someone out there needs this reminder:

You don’t have to begin with a perfect plan.

You just have to begin.

14/05/2026

Growth usually begins when you stop lying to yourself.

Not in a harsh way.
Not with guilt.

But with honesty.

The kind that makes you pause and ask,

Am I actually stuck
or have I just been avoiding discomfort?

Because real change doesn’t happen when everything feels perfect.

It happens when you decide to show up anyway.

Even on the days you don’t feel like it.
That’s where self-respect starts building quietly.

Be honest - what’s one excuse you know you need to let go of?
