How do you turn a Mercedes C200 into a drift car? 🏁🔥

At Kari Sports, we transformed a Mercedes-Benz C200 into a purpose-built drift car designed for high-performance motorsport.

The C200 was chosen for its factory supercharger and rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup, giving us a strong foundation for a serious drift build.

To prepare this Mercedes C200 for drifting, we upgraded key performance and handling components, including:

🔧 Hydraulic handbrake for rear-wheel lock
🔧 Welded rear differential for consistent drifting
🔧 Free-flow air intake & exhaust system
🔧 Upgraded intercooler for better cooling
🔧 Fiberglass bonnet, boot and door panels
🔧 Interior and weight reduction
🔧 Racing suspension for improved handling
🔧 Racing seats, steering wheel & pedals
🔧 Full roll cage for driver safety

The engine is also being completely rebuilt to handle the extreme demands of high-RPM drifting, with upgraded wear components, hoses, engine porting and supercharger tuning to unlock more performance.

This is more than a car modification project.

There’s something special about seeing a machine

This is the Sami’s Xk-400 Crosskart, built by Kari Sports with a clear focus on performance, strength and quality.

You can see it all in this video the way the Xk-400 carries speed, stays composed through the slide and holds the drift on the dirt. It’s not just about looking aggressive; the build, balance and performance really show when the machine is pushed to its limits.
