🔥 FIRST AUTOCROSS. FIRST CHALLENGE. CATEGORY WIN! 🏆

Satheesh Kumar from Trichy took on his first-ever autocross in the Cross Car category, driving the SAMI’s XK-400 Cross Car and it was also the sami’s XK-400 first autocross in this category.

His first run didn’t go as planned. After forgetting to switch on the radiator, the car stopped midway, resulting in a 1:39 time.

But Satheesh got another chance. He used the first run to understand the track, came back for the re entry, and improved his time by almost 4 seconds, finishing with an impressive 1:35. ⏱️🔥

And the result? Category Winner! 🏆

The KnitCity Autocross marked the first-ever Autocross appearance for the Cross Car — and it delivered a dominant debut!

In Class 14 – Cross Car Novice, all three Vision4 Motorsport drivers secured the podium with an incredible 1-2-3 finish! 🥇🥈🥉

What does a 3-time National Champion think after driving the Sami’s XK-400 CrossCar for the first time? 🔥

Aditya Thakur, a 3-time National Champion from Himachal Pradesh, got behind the wheel of the Sami’s XK-400 CrossCar and experienced its speed, slides, responsiveness and raw driving feel.

Within just a few laps, Aditya started getting the hang of the CrossCar, carrying pace and managing the slides.

And that’s what makes the Sami’s XK-400 CrossCar more than just a fun machine.

How do you turn a Mercedes C200 into a drift car? 🏁🔥

At Kari Sports, we transformed a Mercedes-Benz C200 into a purpose-built drift car designed for high-performance motorsport.

The C200 was chosen for its factory supercharger and rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup, giving us a strong foundation for a serious drift build.

To prepare this Mercedes C200 for drifting, we upgraded key performance and handling components, including:

🔧 Hydraulic handbrake for rear-wheel lock
🔧 Welded rear differential for consistent drifting
🔧 Free-flow air intake & exhaust system
🔧 Upgraded intercooler for better cooling
🔧 Fiberglass bonnet, boot and door panels
🔧 Interior and weight reduction
🔧 Racing suspension for improved handling
🔧 Racing seats, steering wheel & pedals
🔧 Full roll cage for driver safety

The engine is also being completely rebuilt to handle the extreme demands of high-RPM drifting, with upgraded wear components, hoses, engine porting and supercharger tuning to unlock more performance.

This is more than a car modification project.

This is the Sami’s Xk-400 Crosskart, built by Kari Sports with a clear focus on performance, strength and quality.

You can see it all in this video the way the Xk-400 carries speed, stays composed through the slide and holds the drift on the dirt. It’s not just about looking aggressive; the build, balance and performance really show when the machine is pushed to its limits.
